Hello everyone and happy November! I am very excited to be moving into the holiday season. This year I was determined to start my Christmas shopping early in an attempt to avoid getting overwhelmed at the last minute. As I was strolling the mall this weekend I came across this amazingly detailed hand-carved door. I love the floral pattern and natural wood finish and would love to be able to have something like this in my home someday.
Happy November everyone! With the holiday season quickly approaching, retail stores are in the process of implementing their seasonal holiday window displays. As I was strolling through my local mall this past weekend I came across this super cute holiday display in the window of The Open Book, a relatively new family-owned bookstore that specializes in discount books and also hosts reading events, author appearances and reading workshops. I thought the display was creative, warm, inviting and executed well. I’ll be on the lookout for more fun holiday displays as we move into December!
